Cat – Acrylic/Stone

What I was trying to do:

I was trying to learn more about how to commissions and somebody asked if I could make one in ten minutes. I said “sure”, and decided to see how quickly I could work.

What worked:

The paint markers I was using layered really well. Painting on stone with paint markers was really nice, as the stone was a very smooth surface.

What didn’t work:

Paint markers dry out really quickly and they change colors as I use them.

What I learned:

You need to shake paint markers a really long time to properly mix the paint, so they don’t change colors when you use them.

Also, don’t tell someone you’ll be able to finish their work in ten minutes.
