What I was trying to do:

I was trying to make a simple design of a roller derby skater, so it could be used on a card to sell at games and raise money for my team.

What worked:

I think the design did come out clear and cute(ish). We chose to use the full derby player option, and not the one with just the helmet, because that looked cluttered on the back.

What didn’t work:

I think the face looks kind of funky. We’re also figuring which laser settings to use on the card, as they vary by type and color of card.

What I learned:

I learned about making cute little simple designs. I also learned that taking good photos of shiny cards is really hard.
