What I was trying to do:

I was working on character design for my webcomic. Westly is one of the main characters, and I was trying to get a feel for her fashion sense.

What worked:

I think her outfit is really cute. I liked how the stars and bar function as color palettes

What didn’t work:

I was experimenting with additional elements to show off her personality, but I don’t think the flower worked. I like the sunglasses she’s wearing more than the experimental sunglasses to the right.

What I learned:

I learned more about how colors work together and how to make them work together. When I next draw her, I will put more thought into how I design and color the outfit.
